2-3 Tours - What to Expect
Diet
All meals are designed to fuel you to enjoy as much of the area as possible as well as provide you with an enjoyable atmosphere to supplement the experience. You will be provided with rehydration kits while travelling around the fishing areas
Meals I provide are:
Day one:
Morning Tea - Coffee and Cake.
Lunch – Choice of pickled pork or pickled silverside with mustard, swizz gruyere and baby spinach and cress sandwiches on homemade German sour dough with Caraway. Tea or Coffee.
Dinner – Choice of Thai Chicken Curry on basmati rice or alternatively , to continue the European culture of the early Snowy Days, Weiss wurst und Sauerkraut cooked in apple and Juniper berries mitt, potato dumplings and Bavarian style mustard.
Evening – Finish the day off with some homemade Estonian hõõgvein ("glowing wine") also known as Glühwein in German;
Day Two
Breakfast – 6:00am Tea and coffee with juice and cereal, plus cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato and German style hash browns.
Lunch – (usually away from camp) Juice and Muslli bar or pack of fruit and nuts. All with cake and a chocolate.
Dinner. - Cheese platter Capers, Stuffed Olives, smoked mussels/oysters before meal of Scotch Fillet wrapped in spec, with potatoes and mixed vegetables as a side
Evening – Finish the day off with some hot apple cider and maple syrup, British Columbian Style.
Day Three
Breakfast – 6:30am. Tea and coffee with cereal, plus toast with baked beans and tomato – don’t want to be repeating but need some thrust on the ride out!
Lunch – hot soup noodles with vegetables and shitake mushrooms.
Dinner. – Greek pasta at Cooma or a wood fired pizza at the Bredbo pizza oven
Alternatively, If you have a particular meal or diet that you would like me to deliver such as vegetarian, vegan or if you have a particular diet I need to stick to for your health reasons, please let me know at the time you pay your balance so that I can prepare then cater for your needs.
Any equipment you leave in your vehicles before we depart will be safely stored at my residence which has someone there all the time. Alternatively, anything you leave in my car in the National Park will be at an unsupervised car park for three days. I have not been broken into but have heard of others cars that have and cannot take responsibility for individuals that may wish to break into my car to take what they want.
Other Considerations
I have a 120/240V converter and a AAA/AA NiCad and NIMH charger in the car. So if you need to charge something, let me know before we depart Canberra and we will put it on charge EARLY.
